Application Process

To submit a Management Skills Assessment Application to the Institute of Managers and Leaders please follow these steps.

  1. Read the Criteria for a Manager for the Purpose of Migration for the above positions. If you believe you meet these criteria, please proceed to the next step.
  2. Complete an Application for Management Skills Assessment [PDF; 538Kb] ensuring you provide all of the required personal details and supporting documentation. Take time to fully complete the form, as incomplete applications cannot be processed. A non-refundable application fee of AUD$550 (ex GST) is required upon submission.
  3. Submit your application by following the instructions included in the document.

Migration Fees

The Management Skills Assessment Unit has conducted its annual review of prices charged for all matters concerning skilled migration assessment. As a result of the review changes are being made to the fee structure effective from 1 June 2016. Please see the Table of Fees for further details.

* GST is payable for applicants residing within Australia only.

Please note – Due to the holiday season, the IML Skilled Migration Unit will close Friday 20 December 2019 and reopen Monday 6 January 2020. There will be delay in processing applications.
